Ngan Nga Bac Ha Hotel, Bac Ha (Lao Cai)

My stay was mixed. The location is fantastic, just a block away from the market, which makes it easy to explore Bac Ha. While the room was clean, it was a bit basic and had some issues, including a hard mattress and a confusing shower setup. The service from the manager was hit-or-miss; he was helpful at times but a bit overwhelming and hard to catch when I needed assistance. Breakfast options were limited and not very appetizing. Overall, it’s decent but definitely not without shortcomings.

I stayed at Ngan Nga and found it to be a solid choice for my family trip. The location is fantastic, with the market and attractions just a stroll away. While the rooms were clean and quiet, the lack of an elevator was a slight inconvenience. The dining options were decent, but breakfast could use some improvement. Overall, it offers great value for the price we paid.

I had an amazing stay in Bac Ha thanks to Mr. Dong and his exceptional hospitality. He made everything super easy for us, from arranging transportation to providing all the information we needed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but be mindful that there’s no elevator, which could be a drawback for some.
